Automatically select and feed perfect capsules
The SC SYSTEM by IMA is a capsule selection and feeding unit designed to enhance the productivity of capsule fillers. It effectively separates crushed or ovalised capsules from perfect ones, ensuring only the best capsules are fed into the filling machine hopper. The unit features a continuous rotating wheel equipped with calibrated holes, allowing only correctly formed capsules to pass through. Post-selection, capsules are directed into the machine hopper by an uplifting belt or air blow. The system facilitates straightforward size changeovers and halts or restarts automatically when the capsule load level reaches a set minimum in the filling hopper. It supports production rates of up to 230,000 capsules per hour, depending on the capsule size, and includes various wheel options for different capsule dimensions.
