Bran finisher for wheat and rye

In grain processing industries, separating flour from bran efficiently is crucial for maximized yields and reduced operational costs. Traditional methods can be energy-intensive and require frequent maintenance, posing significant challenges to production efficiency.

Efficiently separates flour from bran

The Bran Finisher MKLD from Bühler is specially designed for processing wheat, rye, and durum, efficiently separating flour from bran. It is compact and features a direct drive system that reduces energy consumption by up to 30% compared to traditional belt transmissions. Made from stainless steel with no detachable parts inside, it ensures a high level of sanitation. The sieve, placed on guide rails, slides out easily for cleaning and maintenance. Two aspiration openings provide clear airflow, preventing grain from sticking. The newly designed inlet allows the product to fall onto a cast nickel-plated surface, significantly reducing wear and tear. It can process up to 3 tons of bran per hour, making it suitable for facilities aiming to optimize space and reduce the number of machines needed.

Benefits

  • Reduces energy consumption by up to 30%
  • High sanitation with stainless steel construction
  • Easy-to-clean sliding sieve
  • High processing capacity (up to 3 tons per hour)
  • Minimized wear and tear with durable inlet design
