Air-operated single-seat valves for food and beverage industries
In food, dairy, and beverage plants, managing flow diversion and ensuring reliability in valve performance are crucial. Challenges include frequent wear and tear, alignment issues, and hydraulic shocks that can disrupt operations.
Remote-controlled and reliable flow management
The Alfa Laval Tri-Clover 700 Series is a range of air-operated single-seat valves designed for longevity and durability. Featuring rugged plastic stem bushings to eliminate metal-to-metal galling and a threaded stem for proper actuator alignment, these valves ensure dependable performance over time. Available in various styles and sizes, including long and short-stroke actuators, the 700 Series valves offer flexibility for shut-off and divert applications. They come in sizes from 2″ (50 mm) to 4″ (102 mm) with a standard 32Ra surface finish. All wetted parts are made from 316L stainless steel for sanitary applications. This series is ideal for filling gaps in valve projects, especially where simple divert valves like the 761 or flow diversion valves like the 762 are needed. The valves are remote-controlled using compressed air and have few movable parts, resulting in high reliability. Additional automation options are available through ThinkTop.
