The SPX Flow Falling Film Plate Evaporator is widely known for its high standards in producing premium products. It features a patented distribution system that ensures even product distribution across the plate, allowing for low required wetting rates and single-pass design. The evaporator has three plate sizes with water removal capacities ranging from 2,000 to 60,000 lbs/hr (907 to 27,216 kg/h). It can utilize multiple effect or MVR (Mechanical Vapor Recompression) due to its very low temperature difference requirements. This technology is especially suitable for applications such as fruit juices, meat and vegetable broths, coffee, milk, whey protein, and beer de-alcoholization.
