The Selmi Extruder is a continuous linear extruder specifically designed for producing protein bars, super foods, and various nut pastes. This extruder utilizes patented screw pumps that create pressure, allowing for seamless and efficient extrusion of large quantities of product. The system includes a thermoregulated screw pump that shapes the dough through an interchangeable 3-hole head, offering adjustable formats through a guillotine cut mechanism. The extruder features a user-friendly touch screen for selecting product formats and speeds. With a production capacity of up to 100-120 kg/h, it includes an on-board refrigeration unit for temperature control. Manual loading via the upper hopper, combined with easy-to-clean removable heads and augers, ensures both versatility and hygiene. The system is compatible with Selmi’s chocolate tempering machines and enrobing and cooling tunnels for enhanced productivity. Applications include almond paste, ganaches, gianduja paste, date paste, and any compounds used for protein bars and super foods.
