The ED 65, developed by Three-Tec GmbH, is a volumetric single-screw feeder designed to handle free-flowing materials efficiently. With a robust construction, it eliminates the need for a discharge aid or bridge breaker, making it suitable for feeding powders, flakes, fibers, granulates, and agglomerates up to 10 mm in particle size. The feeder’s interventions protection ensures safe operation, and it can be configured with a horizontal or vertical discharge pipe depending on the application needs. Key technical specifications include throughput rates ranging from 160 to 2,000 liters per hour with an AC three-phase motor, and from 6.7 to 4,000 liters per hour with a servo motor. The metering tool measures 65 mm in diameter, and the feeder operates at speeds up to 560 min-1 with the AC motor or up to 750 min-1 with the servo motor, depending on the gearbox configuration. This feeder is particularly ideal for industries that require precision in the handling of free-flowing products.
