The Alfa Laval LabStak™ M37/38 module is a plate-and-frame test unit designed for ultrafiltration and microfiltration membrane processes. It features support plates and flat sheet membranes, replicated from full-scale filtration modules, making it suitable for process development, upscaling, membrane testing, quality assurance, and small-scale production. The unit offers optional plate sets tailored for feeds of different viscosities and solids content. Notable configurations include the M37 plate set for highly viscous liquids, the M38H plate set for medium viscous liquids, and the M38L plate set for low viscous liquids. This flexibility ensures that the system meets diverse experimental needs while maintaining a similar flow pattern to larger modules. The Alfa Laval LabStak™ M37/38 also offers a fully integrated system option, the Alfa Laval LabUnit M37/38, which includes a pump, valve, heat exchanger, and essential instrumentation.
