Cuts and cools extruded string cheese ropes

The Tetra PakĀ® String Cheese Cutter AC is designed to efficiently cool and cut extruded cheese ropes from the Tetra PakĀ® Cheese Extruder DA S. The system ensures accurate length using a laned cutting table with a brine diffuser, a fiber optic sensor bed, and individual cutting knives. Capable of handling up to 680 kg/hour (1500 lbs/hour), it is ideal for large-scale string cheese production. The 24 individual cooling lanes, adjustable string length, and lane-specific flow control allow for continuous high-capacity cutting. The equipment’s open channel frame design facilitates easy cleaning, supporting high hygienic standards. Operators can easily adjust the sensor head position to vary string lengths without the need for further equipment modifications. Tetra Pak provides easy operation via a PLC control panel, which includes an on/off switch, E-stop, and reset button.
