Spiral mixers with bottom discharge system

In high-capacity industrial baking processes, efficiency and dough quality consistency are essential for mass production. Traditional mixers might not provide the speed and automation required for large-scale operations, reducing productivity and increasing labor costs.

Efficient dough mixing and discharge

The MD Line from Escher Mixers (Middleby) features spiral mixers with a bottom discharge system that optimizes dough handling for large-scale baking operations. The system includes an MD-Line spiral or dual tool (MDW-Line) mixing system, which ensures efficient dough mixing and easy discharge onto a conveyor belt or into a moveable bowl. The design is compact, allowing it to feed directly into production lines. Special considerations were made for hygiene and functionality, especially in the cleaning of the bowl closing cap. The bowl transmission system guarantees constant rpm, enhancing dough quality and offering a longer-lasting alternative to classic clutch wheel transmissions. Optional accessories, like the Vario Drive System (VDS), allow users to regulate the speed of the mixing tool and bowl for greater control.
