Preforming line for candy rope production

In the confectionery industry, producing consistent candy ropes for downstream forming processes is essential. Challenges include maintaining even temperature, stable infeed, and precise sizing to ensure quality and reduce waste.

Ensure consistent and precise candy rope production

The CARUGIL Preforming Line is designed for continuous and consistent production of solid or center-filled candy ropes, preparing them for downstream lollipop forming. This line includes key components such as the CSTR extruder, CBC-120 batch roller, and CRC-4 rope sizer, all integrated within a unified control cabinet. The twin-screw infeed section with counter-rotating screws provides stable material input. The extruder features a water-jacketed barrel with electronic temperature control for accurate and uniform heating. The batch roller employs four conical rollers made of stainless steel, adjustable by hand-wheel for varying rope diameters. The rope sizer has four pairs of horizontally arranged rollers, equipped with an electrical heating system and automatic rope control for synchronization with downstream processes. Its construction ensures safety, durability, and ease of operation, with all product-contact areas made from stainless steel.

Benefits

  • Stable and consistent candy rope production
  • Accurate temperature control throughout the extrusion process
  • Adjustable final diameter of candy ropes
  • Automatic synchronization with downstream equipment
  • Stainless steel construction for hygiene and durability
