This system uses overflow water from the chiller to reduce overall cooling costs and solidify fats emulsified during picking and scalding, resulting in improved yields and enhanced cooling efficiency down the processing line. Available in single- and dual-bank models, it reduces pre-chill bacteria counts, which is critical for food safety. The system’s electrical requirements include two 5 hp motors operating at 230/460/480V, 3-phase, 60 Hz, 10 amps, and water requirements include a 4-inch sanitary pump line. With a net weight of 2,000 lbs and variability in production rates relative to line speed, this cooler offers flexibility and efficiency for medium to large-scale poultry processing operations.
