Positive/negative pressure temperature control unit for cooling circuits

In process cooling systems, leaks in the cooling circuit can lead to significant production losses. These leaks often stem from small stress cracks which become problematic under pressure, presenting challenges in maintaining efficient operations.

Control temperature precisely for reliable cooling

The TDV Series Positive/Negative Water TCU by AEC (ACS Group) leverages a liquid venturi to draw cooling water through molds under negative pressure. This system addresses leakage issues by applying negative pressure, mitigating the impact of stress cracks. Temperature control is achieved using a solid-state or microprocessor controller, which activates a heater or a cooling water solenoid as needed. The unit features an operating range from 32°F to 180°F (0°C to 82°C) and incorporates a single-stage Incoloy immersion heater with IEC mechanical contactors, a low supply water pressure switch, and a 150 psi pressure relief valve. The system includes a centrifugal pump and various optional features such as a high-temperature safety switch and visual alarms. The TDV Series ensures precise and reliable temperature management, ideal for maintaining process efficiency in various industrial applications.
