Check and adjust hopper scales with ease
The mobile check weighing system by Schenck Process is designed for precise calibration of hopper scales in pig iron production. This system comprises a two-section frame with an integrated hydraulic cylinder and master load cell, pre-assembled for easy installation. By producing a tractive force between the hopper and foundation, it forwards a portion of this force to the scale’s load cell, which is then displayed on the DISOMAT® Tersus terminal. This allows for accurate comparison and adjustment of the hopper scales. The mobile system can be used across multiple hoppers or permanently mounted depending on the application. It provides a reliable, straightforward solution for ensuring precise weight measurement without the need for complex external weights.
