The MULTIDOS® MPG Medium Pressure Gravimetric Feeder by Schenck Process is designed for pulverized coal-fired boilers needing feeders that can withstand explosion pressures up to 1 barg (14.5 psig) as per EN 12952-9 standards. With a standard conveying length of 2134mm (7’) and a 610mm (24”) inlet, it maintains coal feeding accuracy within ± ½ of 1 percent. This high accuracy results in more precise control of excess air, minimizing NOx emissions and enhancing overall combustion stability. The MPG series facilitates optimal air/fuel ratios, ensuring constant coal flow from the pulverizer to the burner. It accommodates varying coal conditions to provide reliable and consistent coal delivery, thereby improving boiler efficiency.
