The GEA H-Packer SI is an intermittent motion system designed for packaging long cut pasta and special products into pillow type bags. Comprising a single doser with a weighing unit and volumetric finishing system, the machine precisely reaches the final weight of the product. It includes an adjustable feeding channel to handle various long pasta formats. The horizontal packaging machine, managed via a PLC, can be configured with a double sealing system using either hot bar or heat impulse, depending on film type. High-quality materials significantly reduce parts wear and maintenance time. The operator interface touchscreen allows easy management of operation parameters and self-diagnosis. The machine achieves a packaging speed of up to 60 bags per minute for 500 g bags of spaghetti (1.7 mm diameter, 260 mm length).
