Laboratory work bench with integrated sink

In radiochemistry and nuclear medicine laboratories, handling and disposing of radioactive liquids safely is crucial. Ensuring compliance with safety protocols while maintaining operational efficiency can be challenging, especially when dealing with potential spills and contamination.

Facilitates safe handling and disposal of liquids

The WTL/WTL-SC by Comecer is a stainless steel work bench designed for use in radiochemistry and nuclear medicine laboratories. The work bench features a sink with controlled discharge and hinged doors that facilitate safe handling of radioactive liquids. The worktop has a raised border to contain spills, and the lower containment compartment is sealed to prevent leakage. A polyethylene container collects and decays liquids, with an integrated sensor to automatically stop water flow upon reaching capacity, available in the WTL-SC model. The bench’s faucet swan-neck and photoelectric cell water flow control ensure precise operation. The outriggers allow for easy placement against walls, accommodating rooms with decontaminable floors. The frame is constructed from INOX AISI 304 Scotch-Brite™ stainless steel with a thickness of 1.5mm, making it durable and easy to clean. This bench measures 1500 x 700 x 1020 mm (w x d x h) and weighs 165 kg.

Benefits
