Lab scale tangential flow filtration system

Tangential Flow Filtration is an essential to the biopharmaceutical processing industry.  An efficient, controlled, and documented, lab scale TFF process helps producers in the product development and process development phases and experienced biopharmaceutical producers know that investment in automation and maintenance reduction of this laboratory equipment simplifies development work and speeds implementation of new products and processes.

Semi-Automated Tangential Flow Filtration for the laboratory

Scilog is focused on improving the quality and efficiency of customers’ processes in the biopharmaceutical industry through enhancements and automation of sensing, filtration and other processing needs.  The company’s PureTec system is a semi automated, TFF system with electronic HMI and specialized software.  The system’s pre-installed software allows user selectable limits and alarms for safe, consistent process performance without constant operator attendance.  The system responds to sensor feedback to maintain user-defined transmembrane pressure or process flow rates.  Disposable pressure sensors are included on the permeate, retentate, and feed lines.  An integrated electronic scale for permeate monitoring, magnetic stirrer, and programmable peristaltic pump are also included allowing completely unattended TFF processing to user specified parameters.  With the addition of the SciDoc documentation package 15 filtration parameters can be calculated, displayed, and documented providing the information and control you need for maximized yield.

Benefits
