The Seaweed Drum Dryer by Sirputis is an automatically operated drying solution tailored to meet the specific needs of the seaweed processing industry. This system is equipped with a robust filling funnel and integrated electric heater and dehumidifier to provide adjustable drying temperature. Operating in a closed ring system with forced hot airflow circulation, the perforated breathable drum accommodates the algae feedstock while ensuring efficient moisture extraction up to 90%. The rotary drum design allows for gentle drying of the seaweed as it is exposed to hot air flow. To cater to different species, the drying temperature and time can be adjusted based on the moisture level and structure of the seaweed. The heat exchange technology in the system reduces thermal energy consumption, consequently shortening drying cycles and cutting operational costs. The system supports multiple heat sources such as natural gas, bio-gas, and liquid fuel, offering flexibility and efficiency in operation. Key technical features include a total dryer system floor occupation of 7500 x 4000 mm, drum length of 4500 mm, and drum diameter of 1150 mm. The system incorporates materials such as Stainless steel (AISI316) for the drum and Steel S235 (powder-coated or zinc-galvanized) for the frame, ensuring durability and reliability.
