Quickly process frozen concentrates and juices
The Chopper/Blender by JBT is designed to address the challenges of processing frozen fruit products. This unit quickly reduces frozen products to a flowable or pumpable consistency, allowing for immediate further processing. The Chopper/Blender can handle various container sizes, from five-gallon pails to fifty-five-gallon drums, accommodating diverse processing needs. It can process a fifty-five-gallon drum of 45° Brix concentrate in about 2½ minutes, a fifty-five-gallon drum of single strength juice in approximately 4 minutes, and a five-gallon pail of pulp in approximately 2 minutes. The water jacket maintains a consistent temperature of 190 °F (87.7 °C) to ensure the quality of the processed products. This unit features a heavy-duty chopper assembly with spiral cutter blades and a 5 hp motor with a 200 to 1 speed reducer. It operates on 220/440 V power, supporting both 60 HZ and 50 HZ frequencies.
