High-speed wafer block building device

In the confectionery industry, achieving uniform and precise wafer blocks can be challenging, especially at higher production speeds. Producers need a solution that ensures hygiene, consistency, and efficiency in combining wafer sheets with cream layers.

Build and press wafer blocks

The Franz Haas HL-ZLV by Bühler is a high-speed block building device designed for the confectionery industry. This device folds two hollow wafer sheets spread with cream into a single block. It consists of an upper and lower belt, and uses a robotic arm with a vacuum plate to place the top sheet onto the lower sheet. The entire unit is made from stainless steel for easy cleaning and maintains high hygienic standards with transparent polycarbonate doors for full visibility during production. Capable of processing up to 40 wafer sheets per minute, the device ensures consistent and precise pressing from all sides, preventing damage while securing the wafer sheets in place.

Benefits

  • Maintains high hygiene standards due to stainless steel construction
  • Processes up to 40 wafer sheets per minute
  • Ensures precise pressing without damaging wafer sheets
  • Easy to clean with fully accessible design
  • Full visibility of production process through transparent doors
