Forced circulation evaporators for tomato concentration

During tomato processing, achieving high concentration levels while reducing energy consumption presents a significant challenge. Companies are often faced with balancing production efficiency and minimizing the environmental impact, especially when processing large volumes of raw material within a limited time frame.

Reduce energy consumption in tomato concentration

The ECO-ENERGY range of forced circulation evaporators by FBR ELPO addresses the dual needs of high efficiency and energy conservation in tomato processing. These evaporators are available in single, double, triple, and quadruple effect configurations, with operational capacities ranging from 75 to 2,000 tons of incoming raw material per 24 hours. The design features particular shapes and positions of tube nests that enable the use of product circulation pumps with lower installed power, significantly reducing electricity consumption. The steam flow is countercurrent to the product, and condensation is efficiently managed by a semi-barometric condenser. Standard materials include stainless steel 304 in contact areas and hot-dip galvanized steel for support structures, ensuring durability and hygiene. The condenser is equipped with a nebulized water system and uses a centrifugal pump for water extraction.

Benefits

  • Significantly lower electricity consumption
  • High operational capacity up to 2,000 tons per day
  • Durable materials ensure longevity
  • Efficient steam and condensation management
  • Adaptable configurations for varying needs
