Fine belt screens for wastewater treatment

In wastewater treatment plants, managing fine solid particles in both municipal and industrial settings can be challenging. Efficient and reliable screening systems are required to ensure smooth operation and minimal environmental impact.

Screen fine particles from wastewater efficiently

The VFR Fine Belt Screens from WAMGROUP are designed for efficient fine screening of wastewater in both municipal and industrial treatment plants. Installed directly within the wastewater channel, these screens consist of a series of perforated plates that form a filtering belt, moved by two chains equipped with chain stretchers, anti-friction, and anti-noise sliding blocks. The system avoids clogging with a chute in front of the filtering belt and is cleaned by a double cleaning system including a motorized roller brush and a washing bar. Key features include various sizes up to 2,000 mm wide, perforated media openings from 2 to 6 mm, and a special design that ensures easy maintenance and high-solid capture efficiency. These screens are suitable for industries such as beverage, food processing, pulp and paper, tanneries, and plastics recycling.

Benefits

  • Reduces service requirements by avoiding the need to remove the screen from the channel
  • High capture efficiency of solids
  • Easily replaceable filtering elements for straightforward maintenance
  • Double cleaning system ensures minimal downtime
  • Available in multiple sizes and materials to fit various applications
