The DX Strand Pelletizer offers a choice of rotors, including replaceable segment, milling type helical, or solid designs with replaceable blades, available in various materials like tool steel and carbide inserts. It is suitable for various materials including PP, PE, PA, PMMA, GPPS, SAN, ASA, HIPS, ABS, PUR, PET, and PC. Easy on-line maintenance is facilitated by excellent access for cleaning and evaluation of the interior. The pelletizer also comes with a corrosion-resistant noise cover and a safety interlock system to prevent access to pinch points. Available in different widths and capable of handling varying strand speeds and motor sizes, it is customizable to meet specific production requirements, with throughputs ranging from 5,150 kg/hr to 10,305 kg/hr based on material type and strand dimensions.
