Crude oil dehydration and desalting system
Efficiently handle challenging crude oil compositions with a centrifugal system that streamlines dehydration and desalting, ensuring optimal product quality by minimizing contaminants and reducing chemical usage.

Separates and Dehydrates Crude Oil Streams
The GEA Crude Oil Treatment Systems provide oil and gas companies with an efficient solution for separating, dehydrating, and desalting crude oil streams. Central to each system is a high-performance centrifugal separator, which utilizes a combination of nozzle-type and self-ejecting disk-stack centrifuges to achieve thorough separation and water/solid removal. Designed for applications including heavy and off-spec crude oils, as well as mineral oil processing, the systems produce end-products such as petroleum, diesel fuel, and bitumen.
Capable of handling capacities from 30 to 150 m³/h, these modular units ensure continuous processing with up to 98.5% uptime. Integration is seamless in both upstream and downstream operations, with automated features allowing for flexibility in turndown capacities and adaptability to changing feed conditions. Engineered with high-grade stainless steel and wear-resistant materials, they offer exceptional corrosion resistance and are compliant with ATEX Zone 1 and Zone 2 standards for hazardous areas. Customization is supported with optional components like feed pumps and heat exchangers, ensuring tailored solutions for specific process requirements.
