Cow manure screw press separator

Farm and biogas plant operations often face challenges with efficient manure treatment. The separation of solid and liquid fractions can be critical for effective waste management, resource recovery, and compliance with environmental regulations.

Enables efficient manure solid-liquid separation

The SEPCOM Cow Horizontal is an advanced screw press separator designed by WAMGROUP for separating solids from liquids in manure treatment applications. This separator features a compensator hopper tank, a self-adjusting counter-pressure diaphragm, and a screw design made from SINT engineering polymer, making it adaptable to various materials. The specially shaped self-cleaning screen ensures high separation efficiency and extends operational lifespan by reducing wear. With a stainless steel casing and an integrated electric motor and gear reducer, the system automates the solid-liquid separation process. It is capable of treating up to 65 m³/h of material, achieving a maximum dry matter content of 30% for separated solids and less than 5% for separated liquids. Ideal for biogas plants, industrial processes, and livestock slurry, the SEPCOM Cow Horizontal enhances resource recovery and reduces handling costs.

Benefits

  • High wear-resistant self-cleaning screen basket
  • Reduction in overall management costs for solid-liquid separation
  • Decreased assembly and maintenance time
  • Adjustable for various materials with different screws and diaphragms
  • Handles up to 65 m³/h with high dry matter content
