It has a stainless steel casing with a conveyor screw inside a cylindrical screen basket, which efficiently separates solids from the liquid phase. This separation process is facilitated by gravity and mechanical compression, pushing solids towards the outlet where counter-pressure diaphragms create a material plug. This plug ensures automatic operation and prevents the liquid phase from flushing through. The unit is powered by an electric motor and a gear reducer, which are directly coupled to the conveyor screw. The entire system is automated, including a compensator hopper tank and self-adjusting pneumatic pressor, to maintain consistent dryness of the separated solids.
