Continuous flotation units for wine clarification

In the winemaking industry, achieving clear must before fermentation is vital to ensuring high-quality wine production. Conventional methods can be time-consuming and labor-intensive, requiring efficient solutions to streamline the clarification process.

Enhance wine clarity with continuous flotation.

The FLN continuous flotation units by Della Toffola are designed to streamline wine clarification processes in small to medium-sized wineries. These wheel-mounted mobile units include a saturation unit, peristaltic dosing pumps, an electric control panel, and a prefilter. The units enhance the efficiency of the flotation process by separating must in two tanks: the first where must is enriched with an adjuvant and saturated with nitrogen or air, making the lees rise to the surface, and the second where the clarified liquid is collected. The automated system ensures precise dosing of adjuvants, and an optional laboratory saturator (2.5 L capacity) can help gauge the required amount of adjuvant. Ideal for wineries, these units are reliable, robust, and mobile. They offer models with a capacity range of 100 to 300 hl/h.

Benefits

  • Mobility for easy use across various locations
  • Fully automated dosage of adjuvants
  • High reliability and durability
  • Optional laboratory saturator for precise adjuvant assessment
  • Capacity range from 100 to 300 hl/h
