Cell culture isolator for regenerative medicine
In regenerative medicine and tissue engineering, ensuring an aseptic environment for handling cell cultures is critical. Contamination during cell culture processes can lead to compromised results and significant setbacks in research and development.
Maintain sterility while handling cell cultures
The Cell Culture Isolator by Comecer is specifically designed for laboratory professionals handling sterile products in the field of regenerative medicine. This isolator ensures aseptic conditions, critical for working with cell cultures, by using a combination of laminar airflow and an integrated Vapor Phase Hydrogen Peroxide (VPHP) decontamination system. The isolator is constructed with high-grade stainless steel (AISI 316L internally and AISI 304 externally) and features a fully welded chamber with a 20 mm radius to minimize contamination risks. It includes a pre-chamber for material introduction and a main chamber for cell culture handling, all maintained at a positive pressure relative to the laboratory environment. The system is fully PLC controlled and GAMP 5 compliant, with software available to meet 21CFR Part 11 requirements upon request. The user-friendly HMI interface and other automated features simplify operations while ensuring compliance with GMP guidelines.
