It uses a four-post design with bolsters for maximum rigidity and has an integral, self-contained hydraulic power unit. The system includes electrically heated platens, programmable controls for precise operation, and a fully guarded clamp area with interlocked gates. Models AutoFour/15PL-ASTM and AutoFour/30PL-ASTM offer clamping forces of 15 and 30 tons, respectively, and can handle adjustable daylights and strokes to accommodate various materials. The AutoFour/48-19-ASTM model is specialized for rubbers with a clamping force of 48 tons and a temperature range up to 260ºC. All press models come with specific calibration and certification traceable to NIST, ensuring reliable and repeatable results.
