batch centrifuge for solid-liquid separation

In industries such as pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals, and waste treatment, there is often a requirement for effective solid-liquid separation. Traditional methods might not meet the demanding requirements of these sectors, necessitating reliable and high-speed separation techniques.

Manual discharge with high rotating speed

The RINA Serie 200, by Riera Nadeu, is a collection of vertical batch centrifuges designed for solid-liquid separation of slurries. This series features models equipped with either a filtering basket (RINA 200F) or a decanting basket (RINA 200D). The filtering version is suitable for solids in suspension that form a permeable cake, while the decanting version works by settling solid particles based on density differences from the liquid phase. Both versions facilitate manual discharge of solids. The centrifuges in this series allow variable residence times for spinning and intensive washing, making them ideal for products that are difficult to scrape or cannot be re-suspended. They can handle capacities ranging from 4 to 550 dm³ of solid retention and operate at speeds up to 2,000 rpm, achieving G-forces up to 2000G. Additionally, these centrifuges are adaptable for use in explosive hazardous areas with appropriate certification, constructed from basic steel to high-grade alloys.
