Automatic fasteners packaging system

In the fasteners manufacturing industry, packaging operations can become a bottleneck, especially when managing large volumes of screws and accessories. Complexities arise with sorting, dosing, and ensuring that each batch is correctly labeled and sealed for shipment efficiently.

Automates sorting, dosing, sealing, and palletizing

The automated packaging system by Bonotto Packaging is designed to streamline the packaging process for fasteners manufacturers. This system begins by taking bulk fasteners, sorting them, dosing correct amounts, and dropping them into boxes formed in-line. The quarter keg boxes are then sealed, labeled, and advanced to a pallet loading station. An anthropomorphic robot stacks the boxes onto a pallet, which is subsequently transported via a chain conveyor to a stretch wrapping station before being moved to a shipping warehouse. This complete automation significantly reduces handling time while maintaining accuracy and consistency in packaging. The system represents an efficient solution for manufacturers needing to improve throughput and minimize manual labor.

Benefits

  • Reduces manual handling and labor costs
  • Ensures accurate dosing and labeling
  • Automated palletization for organized shipping
  • Integrated stretch wrapping for secure transport
  • Increases overall throughput and efficiency
