3-phase separating decanter for animal by-products
When processing by-products from the meat industry, there is a need for efficient recovery of animal oils, fats, and proteins. Separating these components effectively can present challenges, particularly in maintaining high separation quality and handling various output phases.

Efficiently recover oils, fats, and proteins
The 3-Phase Separating Decanter meatMaster CF by GEA is designed to efficiently separate animal by-products into oils, fats, and proteins. The solid-wall bowl features both cylindrical and conical sections, ensuring efficient clarification and drying of the solids. For added flexibility, the system allows both clarified and separated heavy and light liquid phases to be discharged freely by gravity or under pressure via a centripetal pump. Using a frequency-controlled 3-phase AC motor, the decanter operates with automatic torque measurement and differential speed control for optimal separation results. The decanter is fully CIP-compatible and constructed with high-quality stainless steel for reliability and compliance with FDA standards. Its design ensures durability even under demanding operational conditions, including applications involving high temperatures.
