Wort aeration system for optimal fermentation
In the brewing industry, ensuring optimum oxygenation of the wort is crucial for yeast activity and starting the fermentation process. Traditional aeration methods often fall short in delivering precise control and consistent results, leading to potential variances in beer quality.

Achieve precise wort aeration with automated control
The GEA WORTSTAR Wort Aeration System is designed to address the challenges of conventional aeration techniques by offering a more controlled and efficient solution. The system uses an innovative aeration unit where wort flows into an aeration nozzle, creating a partial vacuum and entraining air with the wort. This process results in excellent bubble size distribution and a large contact surface for oxygen uptake. The unit ensures continuous and precise aeration with fully automatic control and offers hygienic safety through an integrated product trap. It is suitable for CIP and comes completely preassembled and tested. Additionally, a semi-automatic version for craft brewers is available. The system can be equipped with an optional switch cabinet that is pre-wired and factory tested.
