Tub sealing solution for pharmaceutical packaging

In pharmaceutical production, ensuring that tubs are securely sealed with a protective liner and a heat-sealed foil is crucial. This prevents contamination and ensures product integrity throughout the supply chain.

Inserts liner and seals foil on tubs

The DVV 9060 from Bausch+Ströbel is a specialized sealing solution designed for pharmaceutical applications involving nested containers. This automated system efficiently inserts a protective liner into the tub before positioning and sealing a Tyvek® foil with heat. With a compact, pharmaceutical-grade design, the machine achieves optimal laminar airflow, making it well-suited to cleanroom environments. Capable of processing up to 240 tubs per hour, it can handle container sizes ranging from 0.5 ml to 50 ml. Available optional extras include reject discharge for tubs, tub label printing station, monitoring of the heating elements, and a check station for ‘double liner’ detection. The system’s centralized operation interface ensures easy and intuitive handling.
