Sweep auger for flat bottom silos
In flat bottom silos, gravity unloading often leaves behind residual materials such as wheat, maize, and barley. This material buildup poses challenges in achieving complete emptying and can lead to contamination and inefficiency in subsequent storage cycles.

Automatically clears remaining silo contents
The Spirogyre, developed by Morillon, is a sweep auger specifically designed for use in flat bottom silos to efficiently extract remaining products after gravity unloading. The auger operates with a full 360° rotation inside the silo, ensuring comprehensive material removal without manual intervention. It is offered in three types: the S type, with an internal electric motor and ATEX II 2D 125°C certification, the SCD type, featuring a V-belt drive system and high-speed gravity flows, and the Hydraulic version, combining traditional auger structure with hydraulic motorization for capacities up to 400 T/hr. Suitable for silos between 6 and 38 meters in diameter, the Spirogyre supports discharge capacities of 25 to 300 tonnes per hour depending on the product. Additional options such as clearing screws, brushes, and level detectors are available to customize the system to your specific needs.
