Square sieve for removing foreign bodies and grain sizes
In the food processing industry, ensuring raw materials are free from contaminants and uniform in size is crucial. Issues such as foreign bodies or irregular grain sizes can compromise quality and safety, necessitating a reliable solution for effective sieving.

Effectively removes foreign bodies and irregular grain sizes.
The SQC Square Sieve by GEA is designed to sieve raw materials to remove foreign bodies and grains that do not match the required parameters. This system features adjustable eccentric masses, which cause a series of sieves to vibrate. The sieves are connected to a sturdy painted carbon steel frame by elastic suspension units, enhancing stability during operation. The sieve uses a wooden, laminated plastic-coated frame and offers either stainless steel or nylon mesh options, meeting the highest hygiene standards. It typically includes an inlet at the top and at least two outlets at the bottom, separating compliant material from waste. Its modular design allows for easy disassembly and replacement of frames to suit various capacities and product types. A safety microswitch within the suspension units ensures safe and controlled operation.
