Spiral washer for cut vegetables

When dealing with cut vegetables, ensuring they are properly washed before further processing is crucial. Uneven or incomplete washing can lead to safety hazards, contamination, and reduced shelf life of the final product. This makes a reliable vegetable washing system essential in industrial vegetable processing plants.

Efficiently wash cut vegetables with adjustable control

The Sormac SW-80 spiral washer is specifically designed for washing cut vegetables, whether they float on water or sink. The vegetables undergo intensive washing in the washbasin and are transported via a vibration chute where they are rinsed with clean water. Excess water is drained to the pump tank through a perforated bottom, and the pump recirculates the water back to the washbasin. The swirling action and water force can be regulated separately through manually adjustable valves and nozzles to ensure proper washing and desired dwell time. The touch panel control displays the water temperature and allows activation and deactivation of various components. Constructed entirely of stainless steel and plastic, all technical components, such as the pump and vibration motors, are housed in stainless steel casings.
