Septage receiving station for septage treatment

In the wastewater treatment process, managing septage efficiently is crucial to ensure the smooth operation of treatment plants. The challenge lies in handling various materials such as FOG (fats, oils, and grease), sludge, and solid waste with precision and minimal equipment footprint.

Screen, wash, and compact waste in one unit

The VFA DM Septage Receiving Station by WAMGROUP is designed to streamline the septage treatment process by integrating multiple functions into a single unit. Equipped with a dual motor drive system, a perforated plate drum screen, and a screw conveyor, this station effectively screens, washes, conveys, and dewaters screenings. The absence of a lower drum support arm prevents rag accumulation, enhancing the unit’s efficiency. The self-cleaning screen basket and dewatering zone ensure consistent operation and minimize maintenance requirements. This station is versatile enough for various applications, including septage treatment, FOG management, and digester/sludge cleaning. The station’s frame is made of 304 L / 316 L stainless steel, and the spiral is available in special ST 52 steel or optionally 304 L / 316 L stainless steel. The device operates with a 25-degree drum screen incline angle, which increases solids capacity.
