Roller table for sorting and cleaning pome fruit

In juice production or fruit processing facilities, efficient sorting and cleaning of pome fruit are critical steps. Challenges often include incomplete surface inspection, dirt accumulation, and improper fruit handling, potentially compromising product quality.

Ensure thorough inspection and cleaning of pome fruit

The Roller Table from Bucher Unipektin is designed for manual sorting and effective cleaning of pome fruit. Its unique feature is the rotating, gripped rollers that enable full surface inspection of fruit. Fruits are fed onto the belt, sprayed with water, and moved forward at adjustable speeds. Dirt is efficiently collected and discharged through trays beneath the rollers. The rotation can be activated to turn the fruit for thorough inspection, allowing operators to remove non-compliant items. It comes in two models: a 600 x 2500 mm table with a capacity of 4-20 t/h and a larger 800 x 3500 mm table with a capacity of 8-40 t/h. Each model ensures ergonomic working height for the operators and includes integrated cleaning nozzles for automatic dirt removal.
