The Weighbridge DFT-E by Schenck Process is an advanced pit scale system designed for efficient and accurate weighing in industrial settings. Featuring integrated strip foundations, these scales require less elaborate installation, resulting in shorter setup times. The weighbridge includes high-quality precast concrete parts and robust load cells, ensuring durability and precision. Installation is straightforward, involving placement in a sand bed prepared by the customer. In an 18 × 3m version, the system consists of two weighbridges supported on six load cells and two prefabricated foundation beds. The scales can be traversed lengthwise and crosswise, approved for initial verification across Europe. When paired with DISOMAT® Opus or Tersus evaluation electronics and ZEUS or JASON software packages, the DFT-E forms a complete functional unit. Applications include incoming/outgoing goods scales and legal-for-trade load determination, suitable for shipping companies and recycling facilities.
