The A50 from IMA is specifically built for over wrapping foodstuffs and beverages. It employs fully mechanical movements to minimize the need for maintenance and uses cellophane, PVC, PP, and other reel-fed, heat-sealable film types. The compact design integrates an innovative film transport system, making it suitable for difficult or thin films. The A50 operates at a speed of 60 cycles per minute and provides excellent accessibility, facilitating easy changeovers between different product formats such as cartons, trays, and bundles. Additional optional components can be added to meet specific demands and improve performance. Key features include several lateral sealing units, driven drums for film unwinding, and a tear tape unit. The adjustment points come with digital indicators for size changeover, and the reel holder has a quick release and fixed stop to ease reel replacement.
