Automate de-oiling of various metal chips
The FLEXOMAT is a modular system designed by CEPA for de-oiling different types of metal chips. This system offers the flexibility of a manual process with the efficiency of an automated one. The FLEXOMAT allows for individual de-oiling of various metal chips without transferring them, preventing any mixing of chip types. It eliminates the need for pre-processing such as crushing or screening, as the chips are de-oiled in their original form. Metal chips are collected at the processing machine in plastic containers, which are then transported to the FLEXOMAT system. The system can identify the chip type automatically or manually, pick up the container, and start the de-oiling process. High stability and specific design ensure quiet and reliable operation. The de-oiled chips are deposited in appropriate collection containers, and the recovered oil is either collected in a tank or cleaned of fine particles before being reused.
