The vHub 250 by Volkmann is a high-capacity buffer storage unit designed for metal powder used in additive manufacturing. With an integrated vacuum conveyor, it can transport up to 1,500 kg/h of metal powder over distances up to 25 meters. The unit can hold up to 250 liters of powder, and multiple vHub 250 units can be connected to achieve storage volumes of 500L, 750L, and 1,000 liters. It features an ATEX-certified design, making it suitable for dust explosive powders. Its stainless steel construction with Ra 1.1 µm surface ensures durability and ease of cleaning. The system includes integrated filtering for environmental and employee protection, and optional features like inert gas operation and remote control. The vHub 250 can seamlessly integrate with upstream and downstream equipment such as 3D printers and PowTReX reprocessing stations, enhancing overall productivity and efficiency.
