Laboratory horizontal agitated ball mill

Tabletop model for the wet grinding of small to ultra-small product batches down to the nano fineness range. Suitable for a wide range of applications such as engineering ceramics, mineral substances, pigments, paints, fine-grade chemicals, pharmaceutical products, dental ceramics, food supplements, abrasives, submicron, and nano grinding.

For the wet grinding down to the nano fineness range

The Wet mill 90 AHM from Hosokawa Alpine is a laboratory device for the wet grinding of small to ultra-small product batches down to the nano fineness range. It is suitable for small amounts of product and for development trials – also in the nanotechnology sector. Extremely small grinding beads (< 0.2 mm) can be employed with this mill, and investigations regarding the stabilization of suspensions in the submicron range can be executed.

In contrast to the other AHM mill types, the laboratory version has a variable-speed direct drive; it is easy to fill in, empty, and clean up due to its pivoted support.

Benefits

  • Variable-speed direct drive
  • Submicron range can be executed
  • Ultra-small product batches down to the nano fineness range
  • Suitable for small amounts of product
  • Wide range of applications
