Accurately test aerosol cans for leaks
The AERO DPSC by Wilco is a leak testing system designed for empty aerosol cans that fulfills current ADR guidelines. Utilizing a continuous moving carousel combined with an in-feed star wheel, the system places cans into test chambers where they are clamped in a ‘hanging’ position. This configuration effectively exposes potential leak points, especially in the seams. The AERO DPSC can test up to 500 cans per minute and can be integrated into existing production lines. It automatically compensates for external factors such as temperature variations, ensuring accurate and reproducible results. With industry-leading sensitivity, it detects leak rates of 3.2 x 10-2 mbar.l.s-1, meeting UN specifications as an alternative to the Hot Water Bath method.
