The Vega MTVA from Bühler Group is a grain cleaner designed for high throughput applications. It handles up to 100 metric tons per hour, making it ideal for large-scale grain processing. The cleaner is available in two sizes and offers a wide range of screen sizes from 6.6 to 15.6 m², providing versatility for different grain types including wheat, corn, oats, barley, rye, and rice. The MTVA can be used as a free-standing unit or suspended from the ceiling, depending on your facility’s requirements. Key features such as an air-recycling gravity separator allow it to return 80% of the air used to the blower, resulting in up to 50% energy savings compared to conventional systems. The drive is positioned outside the grain cleaner on the sieve box, which facilitates easy access for belt and wear parts replacement. The design includes clips for quick screen changes and options for various sieve cleaners like rubber balls or smaller plastic cleaners. Durable materials ensure longevity even with abrasive grains, ensuring 24/7 operation with less maintenance.
