Hydrogen peroxide biodecontamination unit
In pharmaceutical and medical laboratories, maintaining a sterile environment is crucial to prevent contamination. Traditional methods may struggle with efficiency and environmental concerns, particularly within small, sealed enclosures like isolators and glove boxes. Ensuring effective and rapid biodecontamination is vital for these settings.

Efficiently sterilize small enclosed spaces
The VHP M100 Biodecontamination Unit by Steris Finn-Aqua offers an efficient and environmentally friendly method of decontamination for small, sealed enclosures. This system utilizes Vaprox® Hydrogen Peroxide Sterilant, performing a dry, low-temperature sterilization in four phases: dehumidification, conditioning, biodecontamination, and aeration. The integrated desiccant system dehumidifies the enclosure, ensuring effective vaporization of the sterilant. The high concentration of hydrogen peroxide vapor is maintained to eliminate microorganisms, followed by the breakdown into water vapor and oxygen. This unit accommodates enclosures up to 70ft3, making it suitable for isolators and glove boxes and ensures compliance with GAMP standards.
Benefits
- Rapid biodecontamination of enclosures up to 70ft³
- Mobile or integrated into existing systems for flexibility
- Easy validation with GAMP compliance
- Effective against a wide variety of microorganisms
- Environmentally friendly with non-toxic byproducts
