The SMP is a horizontally oriented case-packer designed by CAM Packaging for packing products into small and medium-sized cases. This case-packer offers a compact design, improved accessibility, and easy format changeovers while maintaining robust and reliable performance. It features a cantilever structure that separates mechanical parts from the product handling area, allowing for easy access and maintenance. The simple yet reliable case forming, transferring, and closure system, combined with a proven product stacking/loading system, ensures consistent operation even in demanding environments. The machine can seal cases using adhesive tape, gummed paper, hot-melt glue, or vinyl. Additionally, the SMP is equipped with CAM’s Mechanical Memory® system, which simplifies format changeovers to a few adjustments with fixed reference points, achievable within minutes by unskilled personnel without special tools. Optional accessories include taping devices with full perimeter tape wrapping, case stamping devices, label applicators, and label printers.
