High-speed overwrapping for bar soaps

In the personal and home care sector, efficiently managing and overwrapping bar soaps can be challenging. This process often requires handling different bundle configurations while ensuring precision and speed. Consistent packaging with various film types is essential to meet product standards and consumer expectations.

Efficiently overwrap bar soaps up to 100 bundles/min

The 3703 by IMA Group is specifically designed for overwrapping wrapped or cartoned bar soaps. It can collate and overwrap them in multiple bundle configurations, using cellophane, PP, and various heat-sealable film types. Despite its high speed of up to 100 bundles per minute, the 3703 ensures precision and consistency. Products are arranged in one, two, or three rows on a single layer, and bundle collation occurs outside the wrapping area to prevent disruptions. Lateral belts manage product infeed, avoiding sliding from high feeding speeds, while a driven star-wheel turns incoming products on edge. The final product configuration is achieved by a driven collating unit. Quick changeovers are facilitated by replacing pre-assembled and pre-adjusted groups, minimizing downtime.
