Forming system for meatballs
In food production environments requiring precise shapes and weight control for products such as meatballs, traditional methods can be labor-intensive and inconsistent. Ensuring uniform portion sizes and shapes is crucial for product quality and consumer satisfaction.

Produces consistent food balls with precise weight control
The DF series by Risco is a specialized forming system for producing food balls and dumplings with high accuracy. It employs a diaphragm-based forming head that can have from 2 to 6 outlets, ensuring uniform shape and weight of each portion, whether made from meat, fish, cheese, or potatoes. The system includes meatballers DF50 and DF70, which form balls ranging from 20 to 65 mm in diameter. This forming setup connects directly to Risco’s vacuum fillers for continuous feeding, reducing manual interventions. The mobile design with wheels makes it easy to connect and disconnect during operations. Precision weight control is achieved through the alternate portioning on diaphragm heads, and an optional product conveyor belt enhances productivity. Managed by the Risco control system, this solution caters to various industries needing precise portioning.
